Back the founders building
the world you want to see.

Astra opens a private circle to worldview-aligned investors, so you can get to know serious founders over months, develop genuine belief in their work, and back them when you've seen enough.

How it works

5-minute application Free to apply You invest direct. No carry, no fund

You've passed on deals you wanted to fund,
because the worldview wasn't there.

Bright founders. Decent traction. Total values mismatch. The pitch deck never mentions it, but you can read between the lines. And you know that writing the check would mean funding a future you can't get behind. Meanwhile, the founders building the world you actually want to see can't get past your inbox.

You don't review decks.
You watch founders build.

Three steps. Designed for investors who'd rather develop a thesis over time than place a bet in twenty minutes.

1

Apply & join the circle

Submit a short application. We vet for worldview alignment, character, and seriousness about deploying capital. Founding investor seats are limited. We're building the room intentionally.

2

Watch founders build, early

See product progress, ask questions, give feedback. Develop real relationships with founders months, sometimes years, before they're raising. You'll know who you want to back long before the pitch.

3

Back the ones worth backing

When a founder opens a round, you already know the team, the product, and the heart behind it. Quarterly formal pitch events make it official. You invest direct. No carry, no fund, no middlemen.

A room you can actually trust.

Built for people who want returns and alignment. Not one at the expense of the other.

Pre-vetted, worldview-aligned founders

Every founder in the room has been screened for seriousness, intensity, and worldview alignment. You stop wading through misfit pitches.

Months of due diligence, built-in

Watch founders execute over time. By the time they open a round, your belief in them is earned, not manufactured in a 20-minute pitch room.

Co-investor relationships

Build alongside other worldview-aligned investors. Share diligence, syndicate when it makes sense, and stop being the only one in the cap table who actually shares the founder's convictions.

First look at the Astra pipeline

Investor circle members see vetted founders before they enter any public deal flow, and back them while everyone else is still reading their teaser.

These aren't side projects.
They're moonshots.

Astrapreneurs are not hobbyists. To stay in the room, a founder must show real intensity, real seriousness, and real worldview alignment. Every founder you meet in the investor circle has been screened against this bar:

  • Moonshot Vision
Building something the world will notice, not a lifestyle business.
  • Shared Ethic
Anchored in our biblical-based ethic: the highest ethical foundation, open to any founder who shares the standard.
  • Full-Time Commitment
Building seriously, not as a side hustle around a day job.
  • Coachable Intensity
Open to feedback, fast to act, refusing to settle.
  • Active Execution
Shipping something every week. Code, content, customers, capital.
  • Long-Game Character
Founders we'd be glad to see succeed at scale.

Any stage. Any category.

We curate on who, not what. Character before category.

Before you apply.

Who can join the investor circle?
Anyone vetted and serious about putting capital to work in worldview-aligned ventures. We gate on character and seriousness, not SEC accreditation. Seasoned angels and first-time check-writers are equally welcome.
What does it cost to join?
Free to apply. The Investor Circle is a private membership. We'll share details with applicants we move forward in the interview process.
Am I obligated to invest?
No. Membership gets you in the room; it's never a commitment to invest. Most members spend months knowing founders before they write a check.
What if I haven't invested in startups before?
Welcome. You'll sit alongside seasoned angels and first-time check-writers alike. Astra is a learning room, not a gatekeeper. Our job is to help every member find founders worth backing.
Does Astra take carry or a placement fee?
No. Astra is not a fund. No carry, no placement fees, no middleman. When you invest, you invest direct. Clean cap table.
How are founders vetted?
Every founder is screened against the Astrapreneur filter: moonshot vision, shared ethic (biblical-based, open to any founder who holds the standard), full-time commitment, coachability, active execution, and long-game character.
How is this different from an angel group?
Angel groups optimize for pitch speed. Astra optimizes for long-term relationship and worldview alignment. You'll know founders months before they raise.
Who's behind Astra?
Astra is founded by Caleb Efurd, author of A Time to Launch. Astra is a separate company built to serve as a support mechanism for Full Strength Faith Ministries (501c3). Membership proceeds support the ministry.
